The C11202 series is a photon counting module that can detect low level light. It consists of a thermoelectrically cooled single photon avalanche diode (SPAD), an amplifier, a comparator, a SPAD bias circuit, and a temperature controller. The light-receiving surface is available in φ50 um and φ100 um sizes, and this small light-receiving surface provides low darkness. The module can be operated by connecting it to an external power supply (±5 V).
