Silicon Photodiodes S2281 Series

The S2281 series are silicon photodiodes sealed in a metal package with BNC connectors. This configuration allows easy connection to the Hamamatsu C9329-01 photosensor amplifier (the S2281-01 has a large terminal capacitance which can cause gain spikes to occur when using the C9329/01 with gain set to the "M" range). Offering two different spectral response characteristics and a large photosensitive area, the S2281 series is ideally suited for use in optical power meters A variant with a visually compensated filter is also available, the S9219. Hamamatsu also offers the E2573BNC-BNC coaxial cable (length: 1 meter) as an option.
