summarize
ORPHEUS is a co-linear optical parametric amplifier (OPA). Combined with a PHAROS or CARBIDE femtosecond laser, ORPHEUS can output femtosecond pulses with repetition frequencies up to 2 MHz and wavelengths tunable from the ultraviolet (UV) to the mid-infrared (MIR). It is therefore an invaluable tool for ultrafast spectroscopy, nonlinear microscopy and microstructuring applications.
The ORPHEUS common line OPA is available in different configurations to perfectly match research needs. the ORPHEUS-HP accepts high power pumping and offers a wide tuning range from 630 to 2600 nm, or can be extended to 210 to 16000 nm by integrating an external harmonic generator into a thermally stable chamber. wavelength tuning is completely hands-free, using a fully automated wavelength separator. the ORPHEUS-HE configuration also has these automated features, but also accepts high pumping single pulse energy and extends the wavelength to 19000 nm with a DUV. The ORPHEUS-HE configuration also features this automation, but accepts high pumped single pulse energy and extends the wavelength to 190 nm with the DUV.
