Coherent® High Power Water Cooled Thermopile Sensors are designed to withstand high power lasers up to 5kW. The water cooling mechanism reduces the amount of heat transferred from the input laser to the sensor to prevent damage to the sensor when used at the recommended minimum water flow rate. This makes these sensors ideally suited for use with industrial CO2 and Nd:YAG lasers with powers >100W (exceeding the power handling capabilities of standard thermopile sensors). Coherent® High Power Water Cooled Thermopile Sensors cover a broad wavelength spectrum from 190 - 11000 nm, making them suitable for most laser applications. 1W power resolution allows these thermopile sensors to provide excellent and accurate measurements of high power lasers.
