H16722 Series Current (High Quantum Efficiency) PMTs

The H16722 series are photomultiplier modules with an internal high-voltage power supply circuit and a cooler, mounted on a metal-encapsulated photomultiplier tube with a GaAsP/GaAs photocathode. By placing the cooler near the photomultiplier to reduce the thermal noise emitted from the photocathode, efficient cooling is achieved, and high signal-to-noise ratios can be obtained even at extremely low light levels.The H16722-40 ( 300-740 nm )/H16722-50 ( 380-900 nm ) has high sensitivity. The photomultiplier is maintained at a constant temperature by monitoring the output of a thermistor mounted near the photomultiplier and then adjusting the current of the thermoelectric cooler.
