In this workshop, we will delve into the following key issues:
1. Why is imaging performance affected by temperature changes?
The performance of imaging systems is often significantly affected by ambient temperature. Changes in temperature can cause thermal expansion or contraction of materials, which can affect the alignment and focus of lenses and other optical elements. Such changes can result in a degradation of image quality and may even prevent the imaging system from functioning properly.
2. What are the types and methods of non-thermalized reinforcement of imaging systems?
In response to the effects of temperature changes on imaging systems, non-thermalized reinforcement techniques have been developed. We will detail various types and methods of non-thermalized reinforcement, including:
- Passive non-thermalized design: Using special materials and structural design, the system automatically compensates for thermal expansion at different temperatures.
- Active non-thermalized control: real-time monitoring and adjustment of the position of the optical elements through the sensor and control system to ensure stable imaging performance.
3. How do you select the most appropriate lens for an imaging system in a changing temperature environment?
Choosing the right lens is the key to ensuring that the imaging system works stably under various temperature conditions. We will introduce you how to select the most suitable lenses and optics according to specific application requirements and environmental conditions.
